Course upgrade - modified 18 hole course OPEN
Miramar is currently going through some changes on-course due to our neighbours, Wellington International Aiport Limited (WIAL), having purchased half of our links land.
On the 1st of February 2024 WIAL took possession of their land on the 10th & 18th holes. We have modified the course routing to ensure we offer 18 hole golf until the remainder of their land is surrendered on 1st January 2025. At this time, Miramar Links will have 11 holes remaining on the balance land.
This is an exciting time in the history of our club as it opens the door to new possibilities. In preparation for the land being reduced in size, we engaged Scott Macpherson, a world renowned golf architect, to redesign the front holes meshing up some old with new.
We are currently in the throes of this upgrade now, and are making rolling changes to the course routing as these course works progress. We'll keep you updated as we progress.
